-Both Hitler wanted Germany to be only for German speaking people. He wanted to kill all of the Jews because he thought they were at fault for Germany's economic downfall. Franco wanted Spain to be financially stable. He also wanted to protect Spain from any liberal influence in the power of the church, army, and landowners. While they had a similar story as to how they became dictators, they do have some differences. Hitler led the Nazi while Franco led the Nationalists. Franco surrounded himself with people who would make him successful while Hitler wanted to be followed by all. Franco wanted Spain to be financially stable while Hitler planned on killing all of the Jews because he thought that they were what caused Germany to become financially unstable.

A Two-Paragraph Written Summary
-One of the things that Hitler and Franco had in common was the way they got powerful. Hitler had come home from the war and he didn't have anymore money. He joined the National Socialist German Worker. He then became leader and changed the name to the Nazi party. He got a majority of his followers when the economy went bad. Many people lost their jobs, Hitler promised that if they followed him would give out more jobs. Franco situation was a little different. Due to the Spanish American war, Spain was really messed up. They appointed General Primo de Rivera to be Spain's dictator. He was not able to fix the problems. While they were looking for a new dictator, Franco got powerful thanks to Hitler and Mussolini and they appointed him the new Dictator.
